Founded in 1985 by Marc and Laurent Grosman, in just 30 years celio* became the essential menswear ready-to-wear brand.
celio* today is :

  • 35 million items sold each year.
A strong and international brand founded on strong values such as affordability and generosity for an exclusively male trend.
Key dates
- 1985 one concept, five stores: celio revolutionised male ready-to-wear clothing by seeking inspiration from sportswear.
- 1986 celio* set out to conquer shopping malls with its first opening in Bordeaux.
- 1993 opening of the first franchise in Beirut 1996 and the first flagship store (leading store) across some 1000 m² opposite Opéra Garnier in Paris.
- 1999 opening of the first store in Italy.
- 2002 inauguration of a flagship store on the Champs-Élysées (Paris).
- 2004 eastern European countries embraced the celio* concept.
- 2006 opening of first French subsidiaries and location in Singapore.
- 2007 creation of the celio*CLUB brand name: A new store concept offering an urban menswear collection.
- 2008 celio* set up in India in December.
- 2009 launch in late 2009 of the French online sales site.
- 2011 Inauguration of the 100th celio* store. Expansion of the brand continued in France and abroad …
celio*CLUB : A fully-fledged brand in its own right
Established in 2007, celio*CLUB is a concept of stores offering « business » collections for all men seeking elegant and sophisticated attire.
celio*CLUB offers the complete collection for suits, with simple and timeless modern designs with many finishes as a twist.
This so-called « urban » concept is undergoing full development with many openings planned in France and abroad.
