In 1853, Levi Strauss, an immigrant from Bavaria, opened a dry goods store in San Francisco during the California Gold Rush. While working, he noticed a need among hardworking people: clothing that could withstand any test. He and tailor Jacob Davis combined copper rivets with sturdy denim, leading to the creation of the first manufactured work overalls in 1873. Today, we call them "blue jeans."

What began as an invention for American workers became a symbol of progress. Worn by miners, cowboys, rebels, rock stars, presidents, and ordinary men and women, these functional items were not just work clothes—they were lived in. But Levi’s® is more than that. It is the purest form of authentic self-expression you can wear. They carry the marks of life, the shapes of our bodies, the memories of our adventures. Levi Strauss & Co. is one of the world's largest apparel companies and a global leader in jeans. We have about 500 stores worldwide, and our products are available in more than 110 countries. And now we are even closer, you can find us on the website shop.aridon.md.
